The Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the inaugural Firecracker 5K at Siesta Beach.  The Chamber has partnered with the Manasota Track Club to host a 1 mile fun run and a 5k run on the morning of July 2, 2011.  Every cent of the proceeds from the event will go towards funding the annual Fourth of July Community Fireworks Celebration. Participants are invited to attend a Packet Pick-up Party at New Balance Sarasota on July 1st! Join the fun from 3-7pm, win some great prizes and mingle with your fellow race participants! If you attend this party, you are not required to sign in on race day. Race day registration at 6:30 am, 5K run begins at 7:15 am and one mile fun run at 7:45 am.
