Gulf Coast Builders Exchange; 2013 Lifetime Achievement Awardee –

Joe Lovingood

SARASOTA, FL – January 28, 2013 – The Gulf Coast Builders Exchange is proud to announce the recipient of their 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award is Mr. Joe Lovingood.  The Award will be presented to Mr. Lovingood at the Gulf Coast Builders Exchange Annual Dinner on February 15, 2013 at Michaels on East.  Tickets for the event can be purchased at www.gcbx.org or by calling (941) 907-7745.

Mr. Lovingood is a licensed real estate broker and is a licensed General Contractor.  He has owned and operated Joe Z. Lovingood, Inc. Real Estate Investment and Management Corp., Lovingood Stone and Brick, Inc. and Lovingood Brothers Construction Co.

Mr. Lovingood is a World War II veteran who served with the Army Engineers in the Pacific, China-Burma-India Theatre, the Persian Gulf Command and the European Theatre.

Mr. Lovingood and his wife Joan were selected by the White House and State Department during President Reagan’s Administration to serve as Presidential Appointees in Africa and Central America.

Additionally, Mr. Lovingood served twelve years on the Sarasota County Planning and Zoning Commission, and has served on the Boards and has volunteered with numerous community and charitable organizations.

The Gulf Coast Builders Exchange Lifetime Achievement Award is granted to members of the Exchange in recognition of a lifetime of distinguished service and contributions to the Gulf Coast Builders Exchange, the Commercial Contracting Industry and the community.  Past Awardees include:
