Summer is here, and everybody's looking for something new to do. What better time to revisit the best local hot spots in Sarasota?

Until Aug. 17, we're collecting votes for Readers' Choice 2012 in 25 categories, from who has the best breakfast in town to which zoo is the best in the Tampa Bay area. Voting will begin July 23.
