Shamrock Pub Wins Readers' Choice Award
The aptly named Irish pub wins our weekly poll, which asked readers for the best spot to celebrate the Irish on Saturday.
Raise a mug to Shamrock Pub. The Irish bar in Sarasota takes the green for best place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
Readers voted in our weekly poll for the pub on Ringling Boulevard. It's no surprise. The bar has 10 different beers on tap, including your favorite Irish imports, as well as live music.
Congratulations to Shamrock Pub! Sarasota Patch sends a big shoutout and some virtual lucky charms to the Sarasota Irish bar, which also will get a Readers' Choice certificate for being so popular with readers.

I just realized I live right down the street below Payne Park from them. I might have to check this place out Saturday and see why readers voted it No. 1.
