I think of any grocery store chain, Harris Teeter is in the best business position to expand in Florida, as they have pushed further north and south out of North Carolina over the last five or six years. The only one in Florida now is in Fernandina Beach, northeast of Jacksonville near the Georgia border.

I would love to see a Harris Teeter's here or an Aldi's. That space is too big for another Trader Joe's. Publix could use some class competition. I agree that with the exception of the store at Bee Ridge/McIntosh, most Sweetbays could have spent more money on store cleanliness, product display, employee training and accessibility, customer service and less on remodeling and rebranding-they were always the same stores anyway.
