A free family lecture presented by Satchel's Last Resort Executive Director, Iris Eastman. Presentation is appropriate for children five years of age and older. Children will be able to take home a free coloring booklet on safety around animals. Presentation is free but a suggested donation of canned or dry cat food (unopened, any brand) is encouraged. Food will be used for Cat Depot's food bank program. To register, call Corey at 941-366-2404 or sign-up in person at Cat Depot.

More About Cat Depot
Cat Depot is a nonprofit charitable organization with an adoption center based on 17th street in Sarasota. The organization works to provide shelter and care for homeless cats until good homes are found for them. The group believes in no-kill adoption facilities and offers numerous services, including the rescuing of abused and injured cats, socialization of fearful cats, resources for pet owners as well as help with locating homes for abandoned cats. The main website offers descriptions of cats available for adoption and the group also accepts donations and offers volunteer opportunities.
