This celebratory fundraiser will feature a cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, exciting live auction, followed by dancing to the music of DJ Karim. Co-chairs are Aimee Chouinard and Terry McKee. The Foundation’s mission is to help those diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and to guide their family members through the challenges they face. Individual tickets are $300. Manatee UUs Hit the Beach" to Observe Earth Day 2024
On Sunday, April 21st (the day before the official Earth Day) members of Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (MUUF) will gather at the Coquina Beach Gulfside North picnic shelter from 9:00am - 2:00pm to worship, picnic (pot-luck) and share songs and activities promoting environmental awareness.
"Our theme for this year's gathering is, 'Our beloved community, our beloved earth' and we welcome Coquina Beach visitors to stop by our observance," said Fred Hammond, MUUF's Developmental Minister. "We will encourage best practices when it comes to our environment endangered by climate change while sharing the basics of UU principles and beliefs," he added.
