Goodwill Manasota Welcomes Bannister to Board

Board Chair Steve Boone welcomes C.J. Bannister, a veteran financial advisor in the Sarasota and Manatee community, to the board of directors for Goodwill Manasota.

She was recently named COO for “A New You”, where she is opening an office in this region for debt resolution. She primarily works with individuals to create exit strategies to pay off credit card and unsecured debt.

A former Staff Sergeant of the U.S. Air Force, Bannister remains very active with several veterans’ organizations within the community, including the Goodwill Manasota Veterans Task Force, The Patterson Foundation’s Legacy of Valor and Veterans Unite, among others.

“C.J. Bannister’s proven success in the region is a welcome addition to our strong and diverse lineup of board members already in place at Goodwill Manasota,” said Board Chair Steve Boone. “We look forward to her joining our team of dedicated, engaged individuals who are all united in our commitment to support Goodwill's important mission in our community.”

Bannister is passionate about serving her community and is involved the Boys and Girls Club, United Way, Bayside Community Church and serves on the board of directors for Manasota Solve Maternity Homes.
