A 19-year-old man was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Monday for the murder of Jovonne Corn, whose body was found in March 2013 behind the Boys and Girls Club.

A man suspected of possessing and producing child pornography was arrested Thursday after he allegedly smashed his computer when detectives arrived at his doorstep with a warrant to search his home, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

SINKHOLE SWALLOWS FLA. VILLA

People across the nation were talking Monday about a sinkhole that swallowed a section of a Clermont resort villa. About 20 people were staying in the villa, located about 10 miles west of Disney World. Talk about a bad vacation!

That was just the latest case of a sinkhole opening up in Florida. In March, a sinkhole opened up beneath a Seffner home, swallowing a man as he slept in his bed, Brandon Patch reports. His body was never recovered.

ORCHESTRA TICKETS ON SALE

Single tickets for the Florida Orchestra's 2013-14 season concerts are now on sale. Included are all Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater performances. The lineup includes Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 featuring the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay; aerial artists, jugglers, acrobats, strongmen and more offering dazzling feats at Cirque de la Symphony; a 40th anniversary salute to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon;, and more.
