Throughout the year, winemakers and winery proprietors from around the world make their way to Michael’s Wine Cellar to host special events. This month, Adelsheim Vineyard President David Adelsheim will journey from Oregon to Sarasota to spotlight his Willamette Valley wines.
Adelsheim will host a special wine tasting at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23 at Michael’s Wine Cellar, 1283 South Tamiami Trail, Midtown Plaza, Sarasota. The event is open to the public for $20/person, and all attendees will receive $20 off Wine Cellar purchases of $100 or more on Sept. 23.
“I’m so thrilled to host this event in partnership with my old friend,” Michael Klauber, co-proprietor of Michael’s On East and Michael’s Wine Cellar. “David and I first met in 1982 when I was starting to serve as a professional wine judge and visited the Oregon wine country. David was already a pioneer at that point and the Oregon wine industry has been revolutionized by his expertise and passion ever since. His wines are very expressive; they optimize the best that Oregon has to offer today.”
