King Tide Photo Exhibit Travels to Robinson Preserve in Bradenton
The Sarasota Bay Estuary Program (SBEP) and Tampa Bay Estuary Program have partnered to present “Chasing the Waves: King Tide Photo Exhibit.” The exhibit features photos from Florida waters and other areas in the U.S., Australia, and small Pacific Island nations, showing the global impact of rising seas.
The goal of the exhibit is to raise awareness about the effects of sea level rise on our shorelines, structures and communities. Images include winning submissions to the King Tide Photo Contest held last year by SBEP and TBEP.
The free traveling exhibit is available for viewing at the Valentine House located at Robinson Preserve in Bradenton. There will be a special evening showing on Friday, January 17 which will include light refreshments beginning at 5pm.
