Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Davis traveled extensively throughout Europe after graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia. He and his family moved here from Jamaica, West Indies, where they owned and operated international companies. He was a Regional Director for Southwest Florida for Foreign Student Exchange programs for 10 years. He and his wife owned Abbacino Galleria, an upscale art gallery in downtown Venice. He enjoys music, the arts, and sports, and has coached adult softball and children's baseball teams.
