Greekfest Features More Than Just Food

Music, dancing, singing, a market and more make up the celebration of a culture.

The 29th Annual Greek Glendi Festival at St. Barbara's Greek Orthodox Church is a celebration of culture, include food, dance, song and people.

Thursday morning's festival kick-off was small — compared to the crowds that will come later — but that didn't stop some impromptu performances and a busy food line.

Enjoy these out takes from the festival kick-off.

My wife and I attended the Glendi last night. We have every year and as always the atmosphere of American patriots of Greek heritage was wonderful and uplifting. BTW, the food and entertainment were great, as always. I am so glad this benefits the Orthodox church and the work it does for the community.
