Innisbrook PGA Tournament Seeking Volunteers

Are you a golf fan? This could be the perfect volunteering gig for you!

Volunteers are needed for the upcoming PGA Tour Tampa Bay Championship tournament, which will be held March 11-17 on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook.

The volunteer agreement includes-

  • Apparel
  • Tournament admission when not volunteering
  • Discounted golf

Volunteering is a fun way to help the PGA Tour event raise funds for Tampa Bay area charities.

If you're interested in volunteering, call Doug Laseter at 727-942-5557 or go to tampabaychampionship.com for more information.

The Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club is located at 36750 U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor (727) 942-2000.

This sounds like a pretty cool opportunity if you're a golf fan.

Only if you're a golf fan. The article is a bit misleading as it requires paying a fee of $85 for each volunteer to promote the event with a tournament shirt, cap and windbreaker. Sort of pushes the volunteer concept a bit!

I have to agree with Harvey. Pay a fee of $85 to volunteer and promote the tournament for a bunch of rich golfers! Any other time of the year they won't even let you on their property.

Hi Harvey and Paul, Thanks for leaving the comments. Can I ask where you saw that you have to pay an $85 fee? If this is the case, I will get that info confirmed and add it to the article. You are correct. It is misleading!

Hi Sunde, It's on their website. Here's a link: http://www.tampabaychampionship.com/volunteers/volunteer-information/
