Top Sarasota Make Out Spots

When a kiss isn't enough, these places in Sarasota seem to spark the mood.

Maybe it is the gentle waves crashing on Siesta Key Beach or the beautiful flowers at Selby Gardens that inspire the romantic side in couples looking for more than a peck on the cheek or a quick kiss.

Somtimes, making out just happens. We turned to our Facebook fans last week asking for their best spots, and we thank Jason Robert White for divulging some of his secrets – from picnics, dates and photoshoots. You really can't go wrong with any of these spots, and there are many more out there. You know, the new Palm Avenue Parking Garage gives a nice view of the city, too.

And you can't do worse than the high school date of Patch contributor Jessi Smith, who took her to the Bee Ridge Landfill, because he was inspired by the burning methane spire.

"He talked it up the entire way there and I was really excited to see it, until I realized where we he was actually driving me. His heart was in the right place, I suppose, but I was less than enthused when he tried to make out with me."

Not all flames are eternal.
