Mother/Daughter Produced Documentary to Premier on PBS

A new documentary by a Sarasota-based mother daughter production team that denounces myths about teens and drug use is set to premier on PBS on Thursday.

The documentary, which airs at 9 p.m. reveals that that teens really want to make good choices about drugs and alcohol.

Check out a Patch article about the documentary after its world premier at the Gasparilla Film Festival in May.

The film, which was produced by Leslie and Lindsey Glass and filmed in North Port, Sarasota, Tampa and New York, reveals some surprising truths about kids who choose to say no. It was the first documentary on the subject according to Lindsey Glass.

The program was produced by Rehab Productions in association with Reach Out Recovery and is sponsored on PBS by The Community Foundation of Sarasota County and the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay.

Leslie and Lindsey Glass are also co-founders of www.reachoutrecovery.com  which also launches during National Recovery Month.
