Wondering just what the heck Nik Wallenda was thinking when he made his nerve-wracking tightrope walk across the Grand Canyon last week?
TV viewers will get to find out Sunday night, June 30, when Discovery re-airs Wallenda's high-wire feat along with new audio commentary from the Sarasota native in "Skywire: Nik Talks the Walk."
Wallenda will watch his historic walk from start to finish for the first time, according to Discovery, "and provide a play-by-play account of what he was thinking and experiencing physically with each step."
Wallenda's Grand Canyon walk was a ratings smash for discovery, with nearly 13 million people tuning in last Sunday.
Wallenda will be honored with a parade Friday, July 5 in Sarasota to kick off the Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix Festival Parade of Boats.
