That Old Bridge - Motorcycle Rides In Florida "Casey Key/Venice/Manasota Key"

Old bridges are great when you find one. A bridge that I never get tired of going across is the Blackburn Point Bridge found on the "Casey Key/Venice/Manasota Key" scenic motorcycle ride. This bridge has a long history and is one of the few remaining swing truss bridges still in operation in Florida. This bridge will leads you down a winding road that goes along Casey Key presenting you with a series of Gulf views that will take your breath away. I find one of the best times to start this ride is about an hour before sunset so I can get a glimpse of the sunset as I go along the ride. There are times when I do not complete the ride, I find myself just wanting to take in the view along the road as the sun goes down.
