Started as a family business in 2004, The Divino Restaurant has been serving Italian specialties complimented with a hand picked selection of undiscovered Italian wines.

Opening and operating a high quality restaurant is a challenging undertaking. Distinguishing that restaurant from all the others is a never ending difficult task. One of the most critical success factors in the restaurant business today is consistency.

Started as a family business in 2004, The has been serving Italian specialties complimented with a hand picked selection of undiscovered Italian wines. Even though there have been changes over the years, their recipe for success can be summarized in one word; consistency: décor, food, service, special offers, and experience.

A warm, inviting, and comfortable décor, Divino offers a fine dining experience in a casually elegant setting.  Offering a range of salads, soups, appetizers, pastas, meat, seafood, and desserts making a singular choice can be a challenge. In addition to the regular menu, there are daily specials as well. For our dinners we choose the following:

  • Insalta Mista:  The traditional Tuscan mixed greed salad with tomatoes, mushrooms, baby corn and Italian dressing $6.95
    Very fresh and lightly dressed; just the way we like it.
  • Cesarina:  Classic Caesar salad with homemade dressing and croutons $7.95
    Fresh, crisp, and cool; a nice home-made dressing; thick, creamy with hints of garlic.
  • Brasato Divino: Braised beef complimented by vegetable & red wine sauce w/potatoes.$19.95
    Tender, fall apart pieces of beef covered in a rich, slightly sweet tomato based sauce; real Italian comfort food; delicious “lick your plate clean”.
  • Veal Milanese: Tender breaded veal chop, topped with arugula and fresh tomatoes $21.95 
    Very nice visual presentation; tender veal topped with fresh arugula and tomato, what could be better?
  • Cappesante Amalfi: Large scallops, mussels, and shrimp over potatoes.  $26.95
    Fresh, sweet seafood, nicely seasoned.

The bread service was notable. Warm fresh bread served with 3 types of dipping sauces: Roasted carrots and garlic, olive, and olive oil; a very nice touch. Although the restaurant was full and very busy, we found the wait staff to be friendly, attentive, and never felt rushed.

Sunday Dinner Special
Sunday menu includes a three – course dinner of an appetizer, entrée and dessert for $24.95
Tuesday is Risotto Night.
Wednesday is Ossobuco Night.
Thursday is Dover Sole Night.
Friday is Veal Chop Night.

On our recent visit to Divino, which was a Tuesday night, we found the place to be bustling with activity. All the tables were filled. People were coming and going with many arriving after 8:30. A healthy sign indeed; after all, there is something to be said about consistency.

I love Divino's - they have the best bread in town ... and fabulous Salmon piccata. Also delectable ravioli, especially the mushroom with sage butter sauce.
