Holiday Flights Between Chicago and SRQ to Double

Chicago bound for the holidays? Traveling to and from Chicago just got a little easier, according to the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority.

Due to an increased demand of Chicago bound flights during the holidays, United Airlines plans to increase the amount of flights between Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and Chicano O’Hare Airport.

Flights will run two twice daily between the two cities from December 19, 2013 through January 6, 2014 according to the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority.

“It is great to see United Airlines add flights to Sarasota for the upcoming holidays based upon strong demand to and from Chicago," Fredrick J. Piccolo, SRQ President, Chief Executive Officer said in a press release. “We view this as a positive step and are hopeful this could lead to additional service increases in the winter schedule.”
