Siesta Key Shuttle Launches Saturday
The shuttles will pick up passengers at Southgate Mall and drop them off at Siesta Key Beach and Siesta Key Village.
If you have been to Siesta Key you know how difficult it is to find a parking spot and if you can't get a spot nearby you have to haul all of your chairs, towels, umbrellas, sunscreen and snacks a fairly good distance.
On Saturday the Siesta Shuttle launches to solve some of those headaches. Siesta Shuttle offers service from Westfield Southgate Mall to Siesta Key Beach and Village. The transport services will begin on Saturday at 9 a.m.
This service was created to relieve the major parking issues on Siesta Key.

For $5 each, riders can take the shuttles to and from the beach, village and mall all day and children under 12 ride free. Shuttle service will be available every 30 minutes. Your wrist band will also get you discounts and freebies at select local restaurants and establishments.

Shuttles will run every 30 minutes Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
