AT&T Expands 4G LTE Coverage in Longboat Key

As part of its continuing network investment and ongoing 4G LTE rollout, AT&T* has added a mobile Internet cell site on Longboat Key to expand AT&T 4G LTE coverage for area residents and businesses. The new site provides coverage on the southern part of Longboat Key, from Cranes Bayou to Longboat Club Key Drive.

What this means for the Longboat Key community is customers are now:

·  Experiencing faster average download speeds than any of our competitors (Our 4G LTE service delivered faster average download speeds than any of our competitors in PCWorld’s most recent speed tests).  This will make a big difference when downloading a webpage, mobile gaming and two-way video calling.

·  Continuing to have access to fast 4G speeds even when they go outside of a 4G LTE area. With other carriers, when you travel outside of their LTE coverage area with your smartphone, you’re on a much slower 3G network.

· Able to take advantage of cool new devices!  AT&T offers nearly 40 LTE compatible devices – including smartphones and tablets.
