SARASOTA, FL – Willis A. Smith Construction recently promoted Ben Sasse to Project Executive from his former role as Senior Project Manager.  In his new role, Mr. Sasse will be responsible for managing a diverse team of project management, administrative and field staff for multiple key projects and clients.  He will also take a greater role in strategic planning for company operations.


Mr. Sasse’s promotion reflects his continued success delivering some of the most complex and challenging construction projects to both public and private clients in the Sarasota-Manatee area.  His résumé includes such landmark projects as the Sarasota County Technical Institute, Ringling College or Art and Design’s Student Center and the award-winning Gulf Gate Elementary School.  During his ten year tenure with Willis A. Smith Construction, he has held positions of increasing responsibility managing projects and their teams to achieve outstanding results for the company’s valued clients.  


Mr. Sasse is an alumnus of Texas A&M University where he earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design in 1998 and Master of Science in Construction Management in 1999.  He is a State of Florida Licensed General Contractor and a US Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional.
