Lasting Looks of Sarasota Hosts Event for Cancer

After getting hurt or sick, most will make a visit to the doctor, then the local pharmacy to pick up medicine. It is also common for people to make a switch to “clean eating” to treat cancer. Is sickness really curable? Recovering from and preventing sickness is actually as easy as 1, 2 , green; a solution found right in your kitchen with herbs.

Lasting Looks of Sarasota will be hosting an “Herbs for the Cure” open house on October 25, 2013 from 5pm - 7 pm to support cancer patients in the Sarasota community. Attendees will have the option to take home healing, cancer-fighting herbs with a donation of $10 or more. All proceeds will go to the Center for Building Hope, a non-profit organization that offers free educational services for cancer patients and loved ones.

Herbs have been a part of healing since the ancient times and grown in some of the world’s richest soil. The black forest of Germany, the leader of enriched herbs and plants, has a proactive regulatory agency for herbs (Commission E). It has become a noticeable application for surrounding countries like China, Egypt, India and Europe, as well as younger countries, like the United States, to learn about the healing powers of  natural earth grown herbs and plants.
