City Offices Close for Labor Day; Garbage/Recycling Collection NOT Impacted

City of Sarasota administration offices will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.  Garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk waste collection will not be impacted.

The Regular City Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, September 2 will be held the following day, Tuesday, September 3 at 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 1565 First Street.

Other City of Sarasota holiday hours:

 * Bobby Jones Golf Club:  Regular hours (6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

*  Lido Pool:  Regular hours – closed (Closed every Monday)

*  Robert L. Taylor Community Complex:  Facility open 6 a.m. – 10 a.m.; Pool closed

*  Steigerwaldt-Jockey Children’s Fountain:  Regular hours (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.)  Please note:  Winter hours will be begin the next day, Tuesday, September 3:  10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
