I forgot this one which is a precious Christmas classic: The Shop Around the Corner with Jimmy Stewart. Remakes later made were: In the Good Old Summertime with Judy Garland and You've Got Mail with Meg Ryan. Another good Christmas movie with Judy Garland is Meet Me in St. Louis where she sings Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. The Christmas Carol has been made in several versions beginning in 1938. George C. Scott was in a made for TV movie called Scrooge that is also really good. Holiday Affair with Robert Mitchum and Janet Leigh is really enjoyable. If you can't tell, I love Christmas and the wonderful movies it has inspired!
