Canada Med Services to Honor Not-for-Profit Partners in the Charity of Choice Program
Thirty-two Reasons to Celebrate
Locally-owned discount prescription sourcing company, CMS, Canada Med Services and its subsidiary, Discount Prescription Services, has grown its locally funded, Charity of Choice program from twelve to thirty-two not-for-profit organizations in two years. CMS will be toasting their Charity of Choice organizations at 8:30PM, this Friday, October 25th, inside “Club Canada Med” at the Doctor Idol event.
“The annual toast to Charity of Choice is our way of celebrating to the hard work and dedication these non profits provide to the community. We realize that the organizations are only as good as the people that work, volunteer and support them,” explained Samantha Hobbs, Vice President of Canada Med Services / Discount Prescription Services. She continues, “Having the toast at Doctor Idol brings the entire CMS experience full circle, supporting one our own Charity of Choice organizations, the Boys and Girls Club of Sarasota County.”
The Charity of Choice program allows customers to select a charity from CMS’ list of approved organizations, and a donation will be made to that charity each time an order is placed. Sarasota and Bradenton customers of CMS are able to select their Charity of Choice when setting up their customer profile.

Updated Facts on the Charity of Choice Program from January 1, 2013 to date:
• 1573 Canada Med Services Customer orders have been tide to donations towards the participating in the CHARITY OF CHOICE PROGRAM

• Close to $5,000 has been raised and donated back to the 32 organizations that are part of this program.
• Since April of 2012, more than $9,000 has been donated representing 3,000 overall Customer Orders tied to donations.
