20 Year Anniversary Community Celebration

Rosedale Golf and Country Club will
celebrate its 20th anniversary in October with three days of
exciting activities for club members and the community.  Highlights include a private performance by
artists from Opera Tampa, a golf tournament and skills contests, a car show,
boat regatta, pet parade and fireworks display.



            “We
are pleased to share our 20-year anniversary with our residents and the
community at large,” said Patrick Hogan, vice president of the Hunt Group, the
original developer of Rosedale and owner of its golf club. “We have planned a
weekend that will be filled with activities for all ages as well as plenty of
good food and good music. We’re expecting a large turn-out and look forward to
showing off our beautiful and still growing community.”

  • Friday,
    October 25th – The festivities begin at 1:30 p.m. with opening
    ceremonies, a nine-hole golf scramble at 2 p.m., and wraps up with a
    poolside BBQ dinner.

  • Saturday,
    October 26th – An activity-packed day will begin at 10 a.m.
    with a boat regatta on the lake at the ninth hole. The fun will continue
    with a golf trick shot exhibition on the driving range at 11:30 a.m., a 2
    p.m. pet show and parade, an outdoor concert by Sweet Adeline’s at 3:15
    p.m., as well a variety of other golf skills contests beginning at 4 p.m.
    The evening will feature a “Hamburgers in Paradise” cookout on the patio
    at 6 p.m., followed by fireworks over the 18th fairway at 9
    p.m.

  • Sunday,
    October 27th – After a busy couple of days, guests will return
    to the driving range at 9 a.m. for a fly-in air show and model airplane
    demonstration, followed by a Johnny Angel car show in front of the
    clubhouse at 10 a.m. A brunch buffet in the clubhouse will conclude the
    weekend’s activities.
