21st Annual Hot Dogs & Cool Cats "Laugh Your Paws Off" Gala

The Humane Society of Sarasota County  is gearing up for another successful gala and has brought back famous comedian Elayne Boosler to host its 21st Annual Hot Dogs & Cool Cats, “Laugh Your Paws Off” Gala. Local stars, Ken Sons and Les McCurdy will be the evening hosts and auctioneers. This year’s gala will take place at the beautiful Sarasota Yacht Club on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 5:30pm.

Elayne Boosler has been performing hysterical stand-up comedy for the past 39 years.  She also has an enormous love of animals and in 2001, founded her own animal rescue and advocacy organization, Tails of Joy. She was also the first female comedian to host her own show on Showtime.

Guests will enjoy a fabulous cocktail hour and top-notch cuisine while soaking in the one-of-a-kind views that only the Sarasota Yacht Club can offer. This year’s live auction will have a new twist! The items will include unique trips and the ultimate designer handbags and will make great gifts this holiday season. Tickets for this year’s gala are priced at $195 per person.  All proceeds will benefit HSSC. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.  For event details or to purchase tickets, please call 941.955.4131 x121 or visit www.hssc.org.
