“A Fool For Love” - A Unique Interactive Shakespeare Experience

Carlo Thomas is proud to present: “The Red Rose Parlour
Theatre,” with an extended run of five shows, February 7th, 8th
and 9th at the Manatee Performing Arts Center, home of the Manatee
Players. In our modern culture, Shakespeare is often associated with a long,
boring evening and a nap. Shakespeare in the round, however, is a completely
different experience. “A Fool For Love” is true Shakespeare, performed in the
round,* is rousing, ribald and as interactive as each audience participant desires.

Actors Raphael Petlock and Lauren Wood guide us through
Shakespeare’s favorite love comedies without sparing us the tragedies.   Relive the classics from the inside-out.  Much more than a distant drama on stage, the
audience is invited into the show, to communicate in the original English
language and perhaps even participate!

perfect venue for a rousing crowd in the
round
