Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota Presents an Evening with “The Merry Widow”

Artist Series Concerts
of Sarasota presents excerpts from Franz Lehár’s romantic operetta, “The Merry
Widow,” Saturday, May 10, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, May 11, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.,
at the Historic Asolo Theater, 5401 Bay Shore Road,
Sarasota. The music of Franz Lehar's classic comes to life with this selection
of highlights, including "Villia," "You'll Find Me at
Maxim's" and the "Merry Widow Waltz," performed by sopranos
Susana Diaz and Lindsay Russell, tenor Gregory Schmidt, baritone Andrew Garland
and Sarasota's Gloria Musicae singers. Tickets are $25 to $45 and can be
