Best St. Patrick’s Day Party is at eat here. Wear something green and join the fun.

Sean Murphy, proprietor of the eat here trio of restaurants reminds everyone that it’s almost time for the wearin' of the green. He’s inviting all Irish and those who love an Irish party to gather at one of his three eat here restaurants (Anna Maria Island, downtown Sarasota, and Siesta Key Village) on Monday, March 17, for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration that will transport you to Dublin. There will music, Irish foods, and family festivities in the Links Park plaza including face painting, tattoo artists, dancers and a one-hump camel named Nomad who will make an appearance at 5 p.m. Have your photo taken with him. This year, the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at eat here will benefit SPCA of Sarasota.

The eat here restaurant group will be open all day from 11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. During lunch, bagpipers will march and play throughout the restaurant. Live Irish entertainment will follow from 5-9 p.m. The menu is Erin-go-bragh authentic with  traditional slow-cooked corned beef and cabbage ($12.95 all day) and more modern specialties such as Celtic Caesar salad ($6.95) and corned beef tacos on a cart for $4.95 in Links Park downtown Sarasota.  Murphy's Irish Stout ($5.00) and celebratory drink specials such as Jameson cocktails ($6.00) will be served with pride and a dash of blarney. Regular lunch and dinner menus available too. Be sure to wear something green and bring friends. eat here in downtown Sarasota is located at 1888 Main Street. eat here in Siesta Key Village is at 240 Avenida Madera and eat here on Anna Maria Island is located at 5315 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach. 941-365-8700.
