Book Reading with Award-Winning Poet Philip Terman

The
Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee presents the award-winning poet Philip
Terman, November 7, 7 p.m., at The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee, 580
McIntosh Road, Sarasota. Terman will read from his 2011 book of poetry, The
Torah Garden, which investigates the
meaning of being a Jew in America. The poet takes us on a powerful journey
through the heart of America. Personal and family history, prayer, religious
exploration, and political invective all flourish in his lush garden of
imagination. The reading is sponsored, in part, by Bookstore1Sarasota and the
