CELEBRATING NATIONAL TARTAN DAY

On April 6, 2014, The First Brass and the Jacobite/Piping Hot Band will present a musical show celebrating National Tartan Day.

The event will be at Our Lady of Lourdes, 1301 Center Road in Venice at 3:00 p.m.  There will be a variety of music styles with a focus on Scottish and Irish tunes and dances.  The sounds of the 16 piece brass ensemble when coupled with the bagpipes and drums are unlike anything you have heard before.  The Irish Dance Academy of Sarasota will perform Irish dances with their youthful energy and colorful costumes.

Tickets are available online at www.TheFirstBrass.org for $15.00 in advance or $20.00 at the door.  You will not want to miss this joyful and entertaining afternoon to honor and celebrate our Scottish-Irish Heritage.
