Einstein's Circle at USF Sarasota-Manatee Presents "Battered and Broken: Detroit Over the Cliff"

The Einstein's
Circle's Winter 2014 series of free talks and discussions of current issues
continues on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2:30 – 4:00 p.m., with "Battered and
Broken: Detroit Over the Cliff," moderated by Barry Waldman, President of
the Detroit law firm Sachs Waldman, with guest speakers Dennis Archer, attorney
and former mayor of Detroit and Maryellen Guerwitz, a Union attorney
representing city worker pensions. 
This week's talk takes place in the Selby Auditorium on the campus of
USF Sarasota-Manatee, 8350 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.  Presented by the Lifelong Learning
Academy, Einstein's Circle is an opportunity for people to gather and engage in
open, thoughtful discussion of current issues and events of relevant
interest.  Einstein's Circle meets
on Wednesday afternoons and is always free and
open to the public. Participation is limited to classroom seating capacity. For
