Gloria Musicae Presents A Night at the Opera

Sarasota's Gloria Musicae Singers celebrates the artistry of opera with “A
Night at the Opera,” March 16, 7 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 104 S
Pineapple Ave, Sarasota. The concert will feature favorite choruses from
beloved operas, including the “Brindisi” from Verdi's La Traviata, the “Humming Chorus” from
Puccini's Madama Butterfly, the “Easter Hymn” from Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana and the “Prayer” from Rossini's Mosè
in Egitto.Tickets
are $35 for general admission or $33.50 if purchased online at
GloriaMusicae.org. Student tickets are $15 at the door on day of concert. For
