Jalea Presents A Love Feast of Peruvian Flavors for Valentine's Day

Jalea, Sarasota’s newest restaurant specializing in classic and contemporary dishes of Peru and Spain, presents a romantic dinner-for-two for Valentine’s Day, Friday, February, 14. The prix-fixe dinner is $49.95.

The love-filled menu is: peppers stuffed with goat cheese for an appetizer or love bite. The salad course, called garden of passion, is heirloom spinach, dried berries, garbanzo beans, pine nuts and passion fruit dressing. For the main course, guests select either stuffed chicken breast with jamon serano and manchego cheese or pork medallions with shallots and green peppers, served with roasted potatoes. Or there’s pan-fried white fish with a seafood and aji amarillo sauce, served with white rice. A pitcher of rose sangria accompanies this elegant prix fixe meal. Dessert is either flourless chocolate cake with raspberry coulis or dulce de leche served with whipped cream and strawberries. To reserve a table for this romantic meal, call 955-8272.
