"Lossless: Paintings by Dolores Coe" at Allyn Gallup Contemporary Art

Gallup Contemporary Art presents “Lossless: Paintings by Dolores Coe,” December
5-28, 2013. The exhibit features eight large paintings and four small works, all
oil on canvas. Coe’s work is exhibited regionally and nationally in museums and
galleries such as the Tampa Museum of Art, USF Contemporary Art Museum, and
North Miami Museum, and is included in a number of public and private
collections. Coe's awards include a resident fellowship at the Riksacadamie in
Amsterdam, a Florida Individual Artist Fellowship and an Arts Council of
Hillsborough Fellowship. Coe was a professor at Ringling College of Art and
Design from 1991 until 2005, when she began her full-time studio practice. Coe
is a frequent lecturer, moderator, panelist, educator and arts advocate. The
exhibit is running concurrently with “Above the Planet Through A Microscope:
Works by Carla Poindexter.”  An artist’s reception, with both artists in attendance is
