Passerine CD Release Party

Fresh off a tour of the Southeast and Midwest that included gigs at
Asheville's ISIS Music Hall and Steve's Live Music in Atlanta, local favorites Passerine
will debut their second full-length CD “Nest of String” at the Fogartyville
Community Media and Arts Center on Saturday, September 14th at
8pm.  With an unusual arrangement of
voices and instruments, Passerine offers a fresh take on traditional folk and
bluegrass music as well as a repertoire of original songs that range from sweet
ballads to the edgier side of contemporary Americana.  Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.  Proceeds from the door will be shared with
WSLR-LP 96.5, Sarasota’s Community Radio Station.
