'Re-Imagining Sarasota Chalk Artists Art' Curated Show

The unveiling of Alfstad& Productions show 'Re-Imagining Sarasota Chalk Artists Art,' November 15-25, 2013, at its new exhibition space, the Ice House on 10th. Presented in collaboration with the world-renowned Sarasota Chalk Festival, this 10-day curated exhibition will showcase the works of artists from the world's most important contemporary chalk festival, were artists use the pavement as their canvas, and chalk as their medium.

"Sarasota is going to see the work of these artists in a whole new way," says Sam Alfstad of Alfstad& Productions.

3d installations by renowned artists such as Leon Keer, Eduardo Relero, Ruben Poncia, Remko Van Shaik and others will ONLY be seen at this location.  A video room will display documentaries and other shorts on the artists work and lectures by those artists. Opening night is November 14th, tickets $100 and the Chalk Festival Awards Night November 17, tickets $50.  

The show provides and opportunity to view the work of the world's finest chalk artists outdoors-and then see, experience and purchase their fine artwork in Sarasota's newest indoor, 8,900 square-food, multi-purpose art exhibition space.

It all benefits the Avenida de Colores 501c3 charitable cultural arts organization.
