Sarasota Chorus of the Keys Annual Show

The award-winning Sarasota Chorus of the Keys announces their
64th annual show, “Shake, Rattle and Roll,” with two performances at 2:30 and 7
p.m. on Sat., Feb. 22 at the Riverview Performing Arts Center (1 Ram Way). This
year’s show will feature '50s and '60s favorites like “Shake, Rattle and Roll,”
“Rock Around the Clock,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Sh-boom,” and many more. Tickets
range from $20-$35 and are available by phone at 484-7589 or online at chorusofthekeys.org

“It’s clear we have 45 guys who refuse to act their age,” said
Bob Amer, vice president of marketing for the Chorus. “Not only will the Chorus
sing songs you wouldn’t expect, they will be dressed in colorful '50s garb and
present an energetic, fast paced show. It will really be a sight and a sound to
behold!”

Under the direction of Byron Poore, the Chorus welcomes back
Sarasota personality Kent Perry as emcee. Both shows will also feature the
internationally acclaimed quartet Acoustix, which has toured worldwide for over
18 years and appeared on CNN, NBC and more. A local quartet, The Best of Times,
from Sarasota, will also perform.
