SnowSharks Ski Club Kick Off Party

The Clearwater/St. Pete Ski Club known as the SnowSharks will be holding
their 30th annual kickoff party on Friday August 23rd at the East Bay Country
Club, 702 Country Club Dr in Largo Fl.

Starting at 6:30PM this event
will showcase our club's 5 winter ski trips for the upcoming season.

With
trips planned to Snowmass Colorado, Taos New Mexico, Lake Louis/Banff Canada,
Copper Colorado and Crested Butte Colorado there will be trips for all levels of
skiers at various price ranges.

While at Snowmass we will be joined by as
many as 16 other ski clubs from Florida. Copper is scheduled to coincide with
Spring Break for St. Petersburg College and USF and Crested Butte is scheduled
to coincide with Spring Break for Pinellas County Schools.

This season
marks the 30th anniversary of our "Not for Profit" ski club.

It is also
the first of several planned fundraising events for the Bay Pines disabled
veterans winter sports team. Funds raised will help these veterans attend the
Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass, CO in March 2014. This unique rehab clinic is
held every year but due to the cost of travel only a handful of the veterans
have been able to attend. 

This event is FREE to attend.
