The Jazz Club of Sarasota's Fifth Annual High School Jazz Festival

The Jazz Club of Sarasota is pleased to announce the
fifth annual High School Jazz Festival, January 24, 7 p.m., at Riverview High
School, 1 Ram Way, Sarasota. Admission is free to this non-competitive festival
showcasing the talents of musicians from Booker High School, Manatee High
School, Riverview High School, Sarasota High School and Southeast High School.
The lead musician mentor for this year's festival is George McClain, leader of
the Sarasota Jazz Project big band and another Jazz Club of Sarasota board
member. McClain will be onstage to offer real time insight and advice to the
young musicians, many of whom receive Jazz Club of Sarasota scholarships to
