The Stroke Association of Florida has announced its Fourth
Annual Victory Over Stroke Symposium, scheduled for Friday, November 15, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.,
at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens at 811 South Palm Avenue, Sarasota, Florida.
The program is free, including a free breakfast and lunch. Free screenings for stroke-related risk factors will be available. The program includes life-saving presentations on healthy eating, important document organization, and stroke awareness and prevention. Anyone who wants to learn how to live a healthier lifestyle to avoid stroke and other illnesses will benefit from the event. Lay people as well as healthcare professionals are encouraged to attend.
