Goodwill Hosts Veterans and their Families Jobs and Services Fair September 7

Goodwill Manasota encourages military members to attend the Veterans and their Families Jobs and Services Fair on September 7 at Ed Smith Stadium.  More than 50 employers and service organizations will be in attendance and will be looking to hire qualified applicants during this free event. In addition, veterans are also invited to participate in two pre-hiring workshops on August 22 and 28 to prepare them for the fair.

“Our veterans bring a unique set of skills, leadership capabilities and experience that can translate into valuable, hardworking employees,” said Bob Rosinsky, president and CEO of Goodwill Manasota. “With numerous employers in attendance, this outstanding event will provide a venue for veterans and employers to connect. I encourage all interested veterans to attend.”

“Military veterans are an unmatched economic resource for businesses,” said Mary Helen Kress, president and CEO of Suncoast Workforce.  “Equally important, by hiring veterans, companies will be contributing to America’s global competitiveness and strengthening our economy.”
