Humane Society Helps Homeless Pets Find Homes This Holiday Season

SARASOTA, FL  – The Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC) is determined to save as many animals as possible this holiday season.  During the month of December, HSSC has reduced adoption fees to encourage more adoptions.

“The holiday season is a magical time filled with hope, kindness and generosity.  During this special time of the year, we’re hopeful that people will give the perfect gift for our homeless pets – a forever home”, said Kristi Dorman, Executive Director of the Humane Society of Sarasota County. “Every pet deserves a loving family and a home for the holidays.”

Adopters will save $25 on their adoption fee for all kittens, cats, puppies and dogs.  The adoption fee includes a comprehensive medical exam, vaccinations, spay or neutering, de-worming and microchipping. To view pets available for adoption, please visit: www.hssc.org/adoption
