Humane Society of Sarasota County Reduces Dog Adoption Fees

In honor of National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, the Humane Society of Sarasota County is bringing back ‘Spin the Wheel Wednesdays’ where adopters can spin the wheel for significantly reduced adoption fees on all puppies and dogs the entire month of October.

“We’re hopeful this national celebration will help raise awareness of shelter dogs and the overwhelming need and importance for the community to choose adoption,” said Kristi Dorman, Executive Director of the Humane Society of Sarasota County. “HSSC is the perfect place to find a dog of every type, size, shape and personality – all waiting for their forever homes,” remarked Ms. Dorman.

Every Wednesday during the month of October, adopters will spin the wheel to save big on adoption fees for all puppies and dogs. The adoption fee for puppies is $125; adult dogs, $75 and senior dogs, $55. The adoption fee includes a comprehensive medical exam, vaccinations, spay or neutering, deworming and micro-chipping.
