Sean Murphy, proprietor of the eat here trio of restaurants reminds everyone that it’s almost time for the wearin' of the green! He’s inviting all Irish and those who love an Irish party to gather at one of his three eat here restaurants (Anna Maria Island, downtown Sarasota, and Siesta Key Village) on Monday, March 17, for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration that will transport you to Dublin. The Humane Society of Sarasota County's Big MAC (Mobile Adoption Center) will be at the downtown location from 4pm-7pm.
There will music, Irish foods, and family festivities in the Links Park plaza including face painting, tattoo artists, dancers and a one-hump camel named Nomad who will make an appearance at 5 p.m. Have your photo taken with him. This year, the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at eat here will benefit Humane Society of Sarasota County.
The eat here restaurant group will be open all day from 11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. During lunch, bagpipers will march and play throughout the restaurant. Live Irish entertainment will follow from 5-9 p.m. eat here in downtown Sarasota is located at 1888 Main Street.
