McDonald’s Employees Rescue Three Kittens in Drive-Thru

Cat Depot responded in fast order when McDonald’s crew members at Cattlemen and Bee Ridge Road called for help to rescue three five-week old kittens in the drive-through area. A mixture of orange, white, black and calico, McDonald’s employees named the ‘to go’ kittens McNugget, Small Fry and Big Mac. The kittens were immediately placed with Kathy, a volunteer foster parent, who provided loving care and socialization for the kittens during the weeks that followed.

To help find forever homes for the ‘to go’ kittens, Cat Depot created flyers with photos of the littermates. McDonalds will include a flyer on every tray and in every take-out bag on Saturday, August 17, at the Cattlemen Road location.

McNugget, Small Fry and Big Mac are now available for adoption at Cat Depot. Adoption fees include veterinarian check up, microchip, spay/neuter and four kitten vaccines.
