1. The preliminary design of the Siesta Beach improvements will be the subject of a public meeting tonight at , 5615 Midnight Pass Road. Residents are invited to come anytime during the 5-7 p.m. open-house-style meeting. There will be no formal presentation. 

2. Three suspects in an on 17th Street are still at large. The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said there are three suspects, two males and a female who was driving the getaway car. The vehicle was later recovered and the suspects are still on the loose. 

3. The Baltimore Orioles take on the Pittsburgh Pirates today at 7:05 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium. This is the last meeting between the two teams during spring training. The Orioles fell to the Minnesota Twins yesterday 5-2. 

4.  is holding a three-hour women's self defense seminar on March 26th. Learn what to look for in everyday life that may keep you from stepping into trouble. There will be a discussion and time to work basic self defense skills. Handbook is included. 5. Dennis Lambert, 12-time Grammy Award nominee, will be signing autographs today, from 12 - 2 p.m at Westfield Southgate. He is set to perform in concert on April 23 at the .
